The following is a breakdown of the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association
assessments beginning with the year 1980. Up until ( and through) 1983 there
was a difference in the assessment for property owners that had living units (L. U.)
or vacant lots. In the summer of 1983 there was a Bylaw change to make all
assessments the same, regardless of whether the property was vacant land
or had a living unit. This Bylaw change passed by a vote of 9 to 1 and was put
into effect in January 1984. Also, prior to 1984 there was no late penalty
charged, nor any lien fee.
